1.Look in the adaptive equipment catalog for the area of self-care
that you selected above. For example, opening jars would be in
the kitchen/cooking section.
2.Look through the section of the catalog you selected and take
notes on items that look helpful to you and items you have
questions about. It is helpful to write down the page numbers
that the items are on. Many of the items will probably be
unfamiliar to you, so don't feel embarrassed to ask questions. 3.Once you have looked at the catalog and have written down the
items and page numbers, ask your occupational therapist to go
over the list with you. Your occupational therapist will be able to
answer your questions and may have specific recommendations
to help you with your list of challenges.
